Production notes

It was the TV series of the 1990s - and in 2017 it came back. When film director David Lynch and screen writer Mark Frost announced that they would produce Twin Peaks: The Return, I quickly decided to create a photographic homage to the series. After gathering some information about what the new season might deal with, I sat down with the team to outline the ideas of our tribute. As can be seen in the pictures, we decided to focus on characters that played in the first two seasons – and added some imaginary parts to the cast. In total, the series consists of ten pictures and was shown in a solo exhibition, from 19th May to 31st July 2017, at März Gallery, Berlin.
Selected pictures were also shown in Johnson City, TN, and London. The complete series will be shown again in 2018 in Vienna and Rome.
