Phoenix

When Warnuts Entertainment asked me earlier this year to shoot set photos and film stills for the sci-fi movie Phoenix, I didn't have to think twice. Four days on the sets gave plenty of opportunity to produce a number of stills that capture the mood of the dark future story told in the film, starring Bruno Eyron, Sandra von Ruffin, Mira Elisa Goeres and many more fabulous actors and staff.

Rabe und Elster

A wicked couple, partners in crime, is caught in a no-win situation. Played by Katharina Sporrer and Christian Harting, both villains are desperately trying to get out of the tight spot - while time is running out. A short film, produced by Filmarche, Berlin. Official stills by Efacts Photography.

Die Klangsammler

Living in an underground shelter, three men are avidly collecting sounds from the outer world in an attempt to conserve its audible beauty. One day, the pipes that transport those sounds are mysteriously blocked, as if some exterior force were trying to prevent the group from any further sound collecting.
Die Klangsammler deals with the pain and anger that results from the loss of our familiar environment - of what we're used to and what we love. Christian Harting, Moritz Kienemann and Michael R. Scholze are playing Walter, Franz and Emil in a film by Christopher Albrodt and Luis Krummenacher.

7,1 Leben (Pilot)

There's a common saying that no two people are more than six degrees apart. In the new German web series 7,1 Leben, the statistical assumption is slightly different, but the story is similar:
A number of citizens in Berlin are having a couple of random encounters only to find out - over the duration of 16 episodes in two seasons - that they're all somehow connected with each other.

Director Lisa Stickel and production company First Look assembled a very enthusiastic cast and crew and produced the pilot of the series in early August - with Efacts Photography responsible for film stills and set photography.

Here's a selection of stills and behind the scenes photos, exclusive produced on film. Cinestill 50D and 800T material was used for the stills, Kodak Portra 160 for the set photos.

Assistants: Lea Lassak, Lena Naomi Krebs.
