Stage Photography - a passionate affair

Productions

Sometimes there's only a fraction of a second to record that extra special moment of a stage play or performance. Anticipation helps - but only to a certain extent. Knowing the plot is much more reliable. So when I get to take pictures of plays or performances, it's necessary to know the script, at least roughly.
Another good thing about it: directors or actors and actresses appreciate it when you care for what they are doing. To me, a working relationship like that is very enjoyable.
