Production notes

It's always a delight to work with Christian Harting, one of the best German actors to date, who won an Oscar and a Palme d'Or in 2016. For the recent portrait session Nuances we went to Club der Polnischen Versager, an established yet super trendy location in Berlin, pushed a few rolls of film through the camera and made some quick digital shots.

The idea of this series was to work with subtle changes of expression, and to establish a matching atmosphere of light, situation and and color range – supported by different types of film. The digital images were slightly edited, to give them a subtle film-like touch.
