Stopover in No Man's Land - 2015
Production notesA young woman, lost in the middle of nowhere, determined to find a way out of her situation. In this cinematic series that plays with elements of film noir, the actress gives just a few hints at the mystery that is presented to the viewers. Like in a short story, the plot begins abruptly, makes two sudden twists and culminates in an open end. Each picture does not show a frozen moment, but captures what could be seen as a small sequence of film, leading to the immediately following frame. Even in the last frame the outcome remains vague - a cliffhanger.
Who knows: maybe the story will continue? If not in pictures, then at least in the viewers' imagination. Crew: Kübra Cihan (M&H), Roni Kaufmann (Assistant), Viertelvoracht (Color Film Processing) Ina Schröder (Black & White Development and Scans) Produced with Fuji Acros 100 and Kodak Portra 400 on Fuji GX 680 II and Fuji GA 645. Scanned on Hasselblad Flextight. Take a look behind the scenes. |
